MONICA KABUTEY

Monica Kabutey is currently a CPA professor and content writer. She is also pursuing a PhD in Accounting at University of North Texas (UNT). Monica has both government and corporate accounting experience. She has worked as reporting analyst at University of North Texas System and as a financial advisor and process improvement core lead at Interstate Batteries corporate office in Dallas. She has a passion for teaching accounting and has been teaching government and intermediate accounting since 2013.
Monica received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and her Master’s degree in Finance from Texas A&M University, Commerce. Monica is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas and a member of several professional organizations, including, the PhD Project Accounting Doctoral Students Association, American Accountants Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Texas Society of CPA. At her free time, she loves to volunteer and work with kids.
